AIRTEL Tanzania is extending its partnership with M-Health Tanzania after a one year successful pilot in the 'Wazazi Nipendeni' campaign.
Speaking on the initiative, Airtel's CSR Manager, Mr Hawa Bayumi, said; "in recognition to the importance and challenges faced by the maternal health, Airtel entered a partnership that would ultimately increase access to maternal health information by expectant mothers and their entire social support system.
"In its initial year the project has achieved so much success that it was nominated for the Best Mobile Health Product or Service in Category 1, The Connected Life Award an annual recognition offered by global mobile awards."
