The Lagos State Police Command is investigating the case of gang-rape involving two officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in the metropolis, LEADERSHIP has reliably gathered.

The NCS officers, identified as Felola Uzezi and Sanni were alleged to have gang-raped a 23-year-old woman.

Confirming the incident, the national public relations officer of the NCS, Mr. Wale Adeniyi said he was aware of the case but said details of the incident were still sketchy. He also confirmed that the Seme Command Comptroller had been notified.

A police source at the Area 'K' Morogbo police command disclosed that the victim met one of the customs officers identified as Felola on facebook and she had agreed to visit him when he invited her but the visit turned sour as her facebook friend, Felola and his colleague, Sanni allegedly raped her.

The source said the suspects had been arrested by policemen at the area command, adding that the two men said to behave been attached to the Gbaji Customs checkpoint allegedly carried out the illegal act at Limca Bus Stop area, along Badagry Expressway, where Felola Uzezi resides.

The victim alleged that, "The two friends raped me one after the other. I believed Felola is a gentleman but unfortunately he is a devil. I met Felola on Facebook and we later became friends. One day he invited me to his house and Felola invited his friend, Sanni over, where they raped me.

"Felola demanded for sex from me but I told him that I was menstruating. When his friend Sanni came into the apartment, they raped me."

The police source said the police had visited the scene of the crime where they allegedly found blood stains on Felola's bed as the victim was menstruating when the illegal act was committed. The police also saw a knicker he gave the victim to clean herself after the dastardly act.
